About Me

Naomi White is a professional photographer and educator recognized for her unique ability to create and implement a surreal take on her subjects, illuminating an understated, unguarded persona. Surrounded by musicians in the punk scene in NYC, Naomi began photographing bands and fellow artists, and now lives and works in Los Angeles. Drawing from a diverse background in art history, film, and literature, her portraits have a narrative quality, through attention to expression, color, and light.

White's work has been published in Photo District News, Time Out New York, The Brooklyn Rail, The Missouri Review, FAYN, Grupo Planeta, and others. She is available for commissions and licensing.

White's personal work can be seen at Here.  White is represented by the Contemporary Art Modern Project (CAMP) gallery.
